A busy week!

The Melbourne Cup has been and gone, hopefully you enjoyed yourself whatever and wherever you were watching it from and congratulations to Gai Waterhouse on her first Melbourne Cup win!

With the onset of November, many males all across the country participate in Movember, growing a moustache to assist fundraise for mens’ health issues including prostate cancer and mental health. Ivan Franich from our office is taking part and will be proudly growing a ‘mo’ for Movember and if you are interested in sponsoring him and following his progress, click on http://mobro.co/ivanfranich.

Whilst we are on the topic of worthy causes the Amber Werchon team are donating Christmas boxes to Operation Christmas Child – packing shoeboxes full of gifts to go to needy children in third world countries, to ensure the joy of Christmas is spread and shared with all.

This Saturday we have four on-site Auctions, from a renovators’ delight in a dress circle Coolum address, through to a new near house in Sippy Downs. 68 Grandview Lane, Coolum Beach is at 11am; 2:45pm 11 Cutter Street, Wurtulla; 3:00pm 24 Rim Road, Buderim and 4:00pm 11 Chestwood Crescent, Sippy Downs. For further information click on the links in our newsletter. Everyone is very welcome, we’d love to see you at any or all of the Auctions and they provide a timely snapshot of the current property market.

The Reserve Bank made the much-predicted decision to leave interest rates on hold when they met on Melbourne Cup day, the continued historic low rates should ensure the housing market continues this positive turnaround we’ve been experiencing. Right now is an opportune time to both buy and sell – stock is tightening up so vendors have less competition and for buyers price growth has been very modest, so get in now!

It was fantastic to see so many people out and about last weekend for the Noosa Triathlon and congratulations to all competitors, place getters and organisers, this really is a world class event.

Enjoy your weekend.
