Last Sunday hundreds of people competed in the Sunshine Coast Marathon; the weather was spectacular and the event was another huge success. Well done to all the competitors, and a big thank you to the sponsors and spectators also for supporting this increasingly popular annual event, which showcases our stunning coastline to the nation. This Sunday, the JDRF One Walk to raise funds and awareness for Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) takes place from 9:00 am at Cotton Tree Park. The world’s largest T1D fundraising event, JDRF Walks raise over $85 million (globally) for life-changing T1D research. It is a fun, family event, offering a 2 km and 5 km course on a flat path following the coastline. There will be live music, jumping castles, food stalls and coffee. Marketed by our agent Rex Larkins, this tightly-held home on a corner block in a dress circle street offers potential to renovate or even develop (subject to council approval).
