Well the mercury has certainly dropped as we officially approach winter, it was only 4.6 degrees celsius in Maroochydore on Monday morning (May 30) at 6:30am; the lowest minimum May temperature since 2012!  Despite the cooler temperatures, residents flocked to two Sunshine Coast events on the weekend, the Big Pineapple Music Festival which seems to get more popular each year and the annual Maleny Agricultural Show.  The mornings are cold, but the day times are glorious!

This weekend we are once again presenting some fantastic properties to the market via Auction and are expecting some great results!

41 Surfrider Place, Mudjimba is being Auctioned at 9:00am by agent Karine Wright – this is large five bedroom family home on nearly a quarter of an acre just 300 metres to the beach…pure bliss for the beach-loving family.

At 3:00pm the action moves over to Birtinya, where Peter Brown has 39/81 Birtinya Boulevard  going to Auction – an elegant two bedroom apartment within walking distance to the multi-billion dollar hospital and health hub; on the top floor in an absolute waterfront position with stunning views over Lake Kawana.

1 Columbia Street, Sippy Downs is up for Auction at 4:00pm with agent Michael Walpole. This is a wonderful family home with a 20 metre heated lap pool and is positioned within walking distance of Sippy Downs’ schools, shops, parks and the university.

At 5:00pm Karine Wright has a second property going to Auction at 37 Wave Crescent, Mount Coolum. This property will attract a good crowd – only 200 metres to the  beach, this stylish custom designed home with a delightful Balinese entertaining area offers the ultimate seaside lifestyle.

We also have a huge variety of properties open for inspection on Saturday, click here for details.

I cannot sign off without mentioning the State of Origin – feeling very good to be a Queenslander today (and everyday).   Bring on Origin II on June 22 at Suncorp Stadium.  Go Maroons!
