Well, what a wonderful week it’s been!
On Saturday night some of the AWP team and I headed down to Brisbane City Hall for the annual REIQ Awards for Excellence; we had finalists in 5 categories and our agency won the Large Residential Agency of the Year category.
This is an incredible honour, and I must say one of the highlights of my 17 year career – as this is a collective win reflecting the commitment and dedication of the whole team across the full suite of roles; we now have in excess of 40 staff covering sales, project marketing, property management and administration. We can all celebrate and feel proud of ourselves for the effort thus far, and look forward to continuing to deliver excellent service to our clients into the future!
I’d also like to acknowledge the strong support our families provide; real estate can be a very demanding career that often involves irregular work hours, and certainly can intrude well into weekends – I have a fantastic support network around me and I truly value this, always. I’m sure the partners of the staff members also appreciate the support of their loved ones.
Despite our success and growth, our focus is quality not quantity, and I am very excited to move forward from here.
It’s going to be a fabulous year!
