Congratulations to Jess and Joey Ruskin on two fantastic Auction results last Saturday; selling both properties under the hammer. 48 Pacific Boulevard, Buddina sold for $1,230,000 to a keen kite surfer; there were seven registered bidders, two of them only inspecting for the first time on Auction day! 6 Wakefield Street, Woombye, was sold for $395,000 to a family relocating back to the Sunshine Coast. Happy buyers, happy sellers!
Also, congratulations to the Amber Werchon Golf Team consisting of Rex Larkins, Mark McGill, Gareth Lee-Ferrari and Johny Blaikie, who won the Rotary Club of Alexandra Headland’s Charity Golf Day last Friday. All team members contributed with a score of 57 net, aided by a hole in one. Sadly, Rex did not score the hole in one, but paid for the professional to take his shot…and BINGO, in the hole! It was his fist ever; he was just about in tears. The money raised will go to Sunshine Coast Riding for the Disabled; a wonderful cause.
The Rugby Union World Cup is on, and got off to a cracking start last weekend, particularly inspiring was Japan’s surprise but very convincing victory over South Africa.
