It has been an extraordinarily busy time along the central coastal strip this week with the Australian Surf Life Saving Championships being held here for the first time since 1980! It is truly wonderful to see so many people visiting our region, soaking up the natural beauty, spending money and mixing with the locals. There are a few more days to go yet, so enjoy!

On a more sombre note, this is a long weekend and on Monday we as a nation celebrate ANZAC Day; taking the time to reflect on the sacrifices made by brave men and women who have represented Australia in times of war and international conflict. There are many services held across the coast and hinterland; your presence at any is always appreciated by the veterans and their families.
