It’s always a wonderful thrill when our Agents secure an exceptional result for our clients; the excitement never wanes when you know that the best possible outcome was achieved and it’s a testament to the hard work and skills of the Agent(s) involved. For example, last month, Agents Joey and Jess Ruskin sold 3/175 Bradman Avenue, Maroochydore under the hammer at $872,000, setting a new record price for a Bradman Avenue apartment.
This property was originally marketed without a price and there was huge interest at the first open home; to the point it turned into a multiple offer situation…which sounds ideal, but the buyers were reluctant to actually seal the deal, due to fear of paying well in excess of competing offers. Jess and Joey decided the transparency of an Auction was the ideal way to extract the best price and secure a sale. After a short campaign, the Auction was held and two of the original buyers who had previously made an offer, were registered bidders.
The auction was very relaxed and as a result of competitive bidding in a public forum, it empowered the registered bidders to genuinely put their best offer forward. The result secured a price well in excess of the highest previous submitted offer and $27,000 higher than the neighbouring unit sold by another agent. This is just one instance of how we are always working to achieve the PREMIUM price for our sellers and will really ensure we use a selling method that will deliver!
