The power of Auction!

If there was ever an Auction that illustrates the power of this selling method and its ability to extract a great price for the vendor through the creation of competition, then 10/16 Meta Street, Mooloolaba is it!  Held on site last Saturday with a crowd in excess of 100, 15 registered bidders, including phone bidders from USA, central Queensland and Victoria, this sub-penthouse got sold under the hammer for $835,000.  Opening bids started at $500,000 and the New Zealand buyers made the winning bid on the day, securing themselves a gorgeous Mooloolaba apartment.   The campaign, run by Agent Mark McGill attracted lots of interest, with a whopping 193 buyer inspections!

We have some amazing properties going to Auction in June, so watch this space – a diverse range of styles, price ranges and suburbs; a big month of “Auction Action” is on the agenda. If you are interested in the local property market and/or maybe interested in selling, we do recommend you come along as an observer to one of our on-site Auctions, everyone is welcome.

Just a reminder that tomorrow is a public holiday in the former Caloundra Shire for the Maleny Agricultural Show.  To find out more about the show visit: http://www.malenyshowsociety.org.au/ – there are also free buses running up to Maleny from Kawana Shoppingworld (details on link).

Hasn’t the weather been glorious??? Last weekend was just divine, another example of why we live where we do and why the Sunshine Coast is a wonderful place to not just visit, but to live and invest.
