Wow, what a big Auction packed, and action-packed weekend we’ve just had at Amber Werchon Property! We had six on-site Auctions, three on Saturday, three on Sunday…the three on Saturday all SOLD under the hammer, and Sunday’s three all attracted bidders, keeping Agent Mark McGill busy with post-auction negotiations.
The first success of Saturday was 4/8-10 Arwen Street Maroochydore, marketed by Tony Nash, selling for $256,000 under the hammer. Next to go under the hammer was 2 Minya Street Buddina, a partially renovated home on a corner block within walking distance to the beach. Marketed by Peter Brown, this Auction attracted in excess of 80 people, with a whopping 15 registered bidder, selling for $378,000. Last, but hardly least on Saturday was a twilight auction 24 Morgan Close Yaroomba, marketed by Karine Wright – this gorgeous pavilion style character home set amongst tropical gardens on a large block sold for $477,000 under the hammer.
On Sunday, Agent Mark McGill, took three properties to Auction –11 Red Cedar Street, Sippy Downs, a 4 bedroom home rented at $440 per week. There was one bidder and it was passed in at $375,000. Next was 2/69 Anzac Avenue, Maroochydore, another property attracting a strong crowd, there were two bidders, negotiations are continuing. Finally, 501/98 Alexandra Parade, Alexandra Headland a two-bedder at Seaforth also attracted two bidders and lots of spirited bidding, now priced at offers over $285,00 – Mark is expecting a sale post-auction very quickly.
