This Saturday night I am looking forward to celebrating the sixth Annual Amber Werchon Property Awards for Excellence with my team and special guests. This year we will be dining at the amazing See Restaurant at Mooloolaba; and with 58 confirmed attendees it is sure to be a night filled with good food, lots of laughter and sometimes a few ‘happy’ tears from the winners. This year there will be in excess of 12 awards that cover sales, property management and administration, plus a few surprises! It is always a wonderful bonding evening and one of my personal highlights each year…I’ll reveal the winners in next week’s e-newsletter, so keep an eye out!
Many of you will no doubt be glued to the TV or your smart device, for extensive coverage of the Rio Olympics which starts tomorrow and finishes on August 21st! The Olympics is always a feast for sports lovers around the world and showcases each country’s finest sportsmen and women…Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, Oi Oi Oi!
The Royal Queensland Show, affectionately known as the “Ekka” commences this Friday also, and runs through to August 14. Brisbane’s largest cultural festival and Queensland’s largest annual agricultural show is held at the Brisbane Exhibition grounds and attracts thousands through its gates each day…well worth taking the trip down to Brisbane to check out; there’s something for all ages and all tastes.
