Well, winter has arrived not that anyone would really notice, the weather is still gloriously warm on the Sunshine Coast and aren’t we just loving it!

This Saturday we are taking two fabulous homes to Auction – starting with 99 Albany Street, Sippy Downs – a large five bedroom family home with inground pool and lots of space for entertaining http://www.amberwerchon.com.au/1541070/ – the kids can walk to shops, schools and university!

At 1pm 33 Horseshoe Bend, Buderim – a stylishly renovated home in one of Buderim’s premium dress circle streets; the owners are highly motivated to secure a result and there will be great value on offer.  Set on a lush, leafy 1195m2 block with north-east aspect, check it out: http://www.amberwerchon.com.au/1490759/

Along with the arrival of winter is the continuing of the Alexandra Parade Streetscape Project – this multi-million dollar project will upgrade the public foreshore, car park and the amenities around the Alexandra Headland Surf Lifesaving Club.  When completed it will improve the general look of this popular area and make it safer for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists.  All local businesses will continue to operate during these works, so please support them during this process and beyond.

In other encouraging local news the Sunshine Coast Council has delivered its new planning scheme and it is the first scheme in Queensland to fully incorporate the new single State Planning Policy.  The plan offers an integrated planning framework, delivering one plan for the region and one set of rules for guiding growth and development on the Sunshine Coast. This new scheme should facilitate and streamline development applications in a more expedient way and offer a more consistent outcome.

Have a great weekend.  We’d love to see you at one of our Auctions or open homes.
