Q: What inspired your journey into real estate?
A: I have been greatly inspired by my Dad, who was a very successful builder here on the Coast and more recently, at 79 years of age, a judge for HIA Building Awards. Decades later his most iconic builds still stand proud on Minyama Island and Moffat Beach. Growing up here on the Coast and being surrounded by all aspects of the building trade has helped me understand construction and the intricacies of real estate.
Q: Did you have any childhood dream careers?
A: I long aspired to be an architect. When I was a kid I would draw hundreds of floorplans and bring the plans to life with Legos! Complete houses with internal walls and north facing pools! In my teens I did a summer internship with a local Architecture firm and a CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) course however somewhere along the way I changed paths.
Q: What, in your own opinion, is the most rewarding aspect of being a real estate agent
A: Helping people along their property journey. It is so rewarding when you successfully connect people with the property they have been searching for. I truly care about the outcomes of the clients.
Q: What is the best part about living and working on the Sunshine Coast?
A: The beaches, of course! I love walking along the beach especially the coastal path from Dicky Beach to Golden Beach.
Q: What are your future goals?
A: In many ways my real estate journey has only just begun! My goals from here are centred around connecting people with properties by recognising the needs of clients and collaborating with a knowledgeable and supportive team. Real Estate is an ever-evolving business so it’s important to align yourself with the right people to call on for advice.
