This month marked a significant event on the calendar—#DisabilityActionWeek, and we were honoured to actively engage in a meaningful initiative that aligns with our values of community support and inclusion.
We were honoured to take part in the VIP Come & Try event, shining a spotlight on the remarkable Suncoast Spinners Reverse Inclusion Initiative. Our team members, Amber Werchon, Steven du Preez, and Teale Ring, eagerly participated, embodying the spirit of diversity and inclusivity that defines our community ethos at AW.
This year’s theme, ‘Access Ignites: It’s Good Business,’ resonates deeply with us. It underscores the importance of fostering greater employment opportunities and economic engagement for individuals with disabilities. At AW, we believe that diversity not only enriches our community but is also a cornerstone of a thriving and vibrant society.
In our unwavering commitment to supporting the local community, we are proud to announce our contribution—a donation aimed at furthering the goals of the Suncoast Spinners Reverse Inclusion Initiative. This donation will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous provision of accessible and affordable wheelchair sports for the Sunshine Coast community.
The Suncoast Spinners, with their dedication to making sports accessible to everyone, align perfectly with our values. By supporting their initiatives, we aim to create opportunities for every individual, regardless of ability, to not only participate but to thrive and excel.
In the spirit of collective impact, let’s continue to foster a community where everyone has the chance to reach their full potential. Our donation is a small step towards a more inclusive future, and we invite everyone to join us in supporting initiatives that make a lasting difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.
At Amber Werchon Property, we understand the power of community, and together, we can create positive change. Let’s build a future where everyone has the opportunity to shine.
