Making sure that you have a brochure with general information about your property is available is a must! People will want to know, and have it on hand – they’re also good to look back on after leaving the open home. Try Not To Be Home
While we understand that this is not always possible, where you are able to we highly recommend that you are not actually at your open. Put your trust in the agent you have chosen to sell your home, and they will do the rest… They are the local area expert after all!
Being present during an open home can be uncomfortable for some buyers, and may hinder them from asking burning questions.
Timing Is Everything
Selecting the right time for your open home could make or break it. Weekends are usually the most popular choice – as majority of people are off from work or are already out and about with other activities and can fit an open home (or two) into their schedule for the day. Weekday, evenings and afternoons are also popular choices, but you need to make sure you pick a peak time, or a time where the buyers for your home will have availability – again, our agents will be able to help you with this!
