For those holidaying on the Sunshine Coast, or if you’re a local just wanting some ideas for the kids, there is a plethora
of things to do locally on the school holidays!
Below is a list of 10 things to consider adding to your agenda:
1. Outdoor time – bike riding, bush walking, or walk along one of our many scenic coastal walks;
2. Family Funpark day out – we are spoilt for choice with Australia Zoo, Aussie World, The Ginger Factory,
Top Shots Fun Park, Bellingham Maze, Big Kart Track, Bli Bli Watersports Complex, or Wildlife HQ at Woombye;
3. For a vast array of school holiday programs – check out the Learn2Live website, click here!
4. Shop up a storm at one of the many EOFY sales at Sunshine Plaza and Kawana Shoppingworld and enjoy
a bite to eat at one of their many cafes/restaurants;
5. Stay warm in the cinema and catch one of the latest school holiday blockbusters whilst munching on popcorn;
6. Ten Pin Bowling is always so much fun for all the family – Suncity Tenpin at Alexandra Headland is a guaranteed
a good time;
7. Go skating at the Caloundra Rollerdrome – the kids will love this;
8. The Big Boing at Birtinya is a super popular trampoline park – the kids are mixing exercise with play;
9. Check out Sea Life (Underwater World) Mooloolaba – there’s always something new there to thrill and captivate; and
10. When you’ve squeezed in all the above – how about bringing the family along to visit some of our open homes or Auctions this weekend…we’d love to see you!
Whatever you decide to do, enjoy!
