Well, what a week it has been and a horrendous one at that for many in Queensland and northern NSW. We dodged a bullet here on the Sunshine Coast, with some destruction, local flooding and blanket power outages; but all in all, compared to our northern and southern neighbours we’ve fared very well. The fall- out from this devastating weather event will continue long after the media attention has waned. Just a reminder to all, to check your insurance covers you adequately for the damage these types of natural disasters can inflict.
Our Auctions have been achieving great success; Karine Wright recently sold 17 Nautica Circuit, Mount Coolum under the hammer for a record price in the Sandcastles Estate. During the four-week campaign, there were 75 inspections, seven offers prior, and the buyer on Auction day came from our database.
Last Saturday Jess and Joey Ruskin sold 3/75 Bradman Avenue, Maroochydore for $872,000 to a Sydney-based buyer seeking to relocate to the Sunshine Coast. This was a short, 2½ week campaign which generated over 30 enquiries and competitive bidding from the two registered bidders on the day. The market is travelling along well and we are experiencing strong demand for executive style apartments with water views.
Have a great week, enjoy the time off if you are lucky enough to be holidaying, for those still working – the Easter break is nearly here!
