Last Sunday was Father’s Day and we hope all the fathers and grandfathers out there got spoilt with love from their families. This weekend the Sunshine Coast will continue to attract a plethora of visitors with two huge events to be hosted.
Firstly, the annual REAL Food Festival at Maleny, held over two days on Saturday and Sunday at the Maleny Showgrounds, the Real Food Festival is an event that brings together all elements of Sunshine Coast food in a weekend of learning and celebration, featuring guest appearances from many acclaimed chefs. With demonstrations, conversations, workshops, exhibits, activities and live entertainment the Festival has something to delight all age groups and is a much anticipated event on the Sunshine Coast calendar. For lovers of good food…do not miss this!
Secondly, on Sunday Mooloolaba’s beauty will be showcased at the Ironman 70.3 Event. The event will consist of a 1.9km ocean swim, 90km bike ride and 21.1km run. Make sure you head into Mooloolaba to show your support and cheer on the participants.
