Last Friday we had an Amber Werchon Property golf team participate in the annual Rowlo’s Golf Day, which helped raise funds and awareness for Motor Neurone Disease (MND). Did you know that more than 2 people die every day and another 2 are diagnosed with MND and there is NO CURE! We are proud to be the major sponsor of the event and glad we can help spread the word about this disease. I can report back that the AWP team won! Well done Eliot, Michael, Saul and Nicola. Trudi Fernandez carried out her very first charity auction on the day which raised $7,000.
Trudi is also donating her time this Saturday at the Pinkup for Pinktober Markets in Buderim. Trudi will be auctioning 28 items, one of which is a stunning 45 x 45cm original painting by local Artist Denise Daffara valued at $650. A great day is planned with market stalls, entertainment and food at the Buderim War Memorial Hall from 9am until 2.00 pm. All money raised will go to the Cindy Mackenzie Breast Cancer Program. This program provides support to Sunshine Coast breast cancer sufferers and their families as they undergo treatment. The program is available to all Sunshine Coast residents diagnosed with breast cancer.
