Good news for the Sunshine Coast!

This week starts not only a new Financial Year, but another consecutive month the Reserve Bank kept interest rates on hold.  The Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ) reports that ongoing low interest rates should boost buyers’ confidence.

REIQ spokesperson Antonia Mercorella says it is particularly good news for the Sunshine Coast – “We believe that the interest rate being kept at these record lows creates an excellent opportunity for some healthy growth in the Queensland property market.  We’re starting to see some very good results in the south-east and the major tourist regions, in particular Cairns, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast.”

The clear message here is that now is an opportune time to buy – interest rates are low and the market is starting to move upwards…it’s all about timing and now is a ‘key’ time to invest or enter the market.

This Saturday we have two properties going to Auction – firstly at 12pm 1/7 Dubois Close, Buderim followed by 49 Boardwalk Boulevard, Mount Coolum at 3pm.  Both properties offer low maintenance living and are designed to maximise the lifestyle benefits of the Sunshine Coast.    Go for a drive in the glorious winter sunshine and come along to one or both of these Auctions, everyone is welcome.

My Executive Assistant, Tracey Emery is participating in the Sunshine Coast Marathon Weekend in August doing a 10km run to raise money for her close friends the Donnell family and the Sanfilippo Children’s Foundation.  Both of their children are suffering from this rare and terrible condition, and unless a cure is found they will lose their children at a young age…just devastating.  Tracey has set up a sponsorship page to not only promote awareness of the condition but also to help them raise the money they need to participate in a trial being conducted in the USA.  Check out Tracey’s page: – https://give.everydayhero.com/au/tracey-emery-cutuli and please support her in her quest to assist this family and the Foundation.
