Here’s Our Quick Wrap of 2021!

Hi everyone,

Well, we made it to the end of 2021! What a year it has been, with this relentless virus holding us back from the freedoms we usually enjoy in this lucky country of ours. That said, we have been blessed here on the Coast to not have had the dreaded marathon lock-downs of our southern friends. Let’s hope 2022 see’s us find a way to safely open up and reconnect with the rest of Australia and the world.

What a year of extraordinary growth in the property market. The Coast’s rise has been well documented with figures of up to 47% annual growth in key growth suburbs, helped significantly along by ~30% of sales now coming from interstate buyers.

We’ve been a part of a significant volume of sales happening off-market, with our clients enjoying this stress-free approach. Many of these off-market sales have resulted in street and suburb records, challenging the notion that off-market means you may compromise your end result, not anymore!

These shifting sands beneath our feet has meant as agents our day-to-day approach has had to adapt, with virtual solutions taking many different forms to ensure we can service both our local and interstate clients.

Of course, the core of what we do remains the same, which is finding the perfect match of buyer and seller.  This important role has crystallised for us throughout 2021 as what makes our business so unique and effective. We think this is summed up best in our brand story, take a watch:

Our property experts, people focused ethos celebrates that at the heart of all property decisions are human lives and with many different motivations at play. While it’s imperative we remain the most knowledgeable and connected agents, it’s equally important that we do so with empathy and gratitude.

It’s this people side to property after all that makes us different. So, we can’t go on any further with this wrap up of 2021 without acknowledging our amazing team. The focus everyone has maintained over the past two years has been extraordinary. Our people-centric approach to property has been so well received by buyers and sellers alike who are making important life decisions in times of uncertainty. This year we introduced a values survey, asking our clients asking them to rate us on our responsiveness, local knowledge and proactivity. It’s with great pleasure to say we have received 5/5 100% of the time.

You may have noticed our new look!

Beyond defining our brand philosophy, we invested in translating this into the tone and visual language of our brand, executing a complete ‘branding’ refresh, covering everything from building through to business cards. This investment ensures how we present the brand delivers on the same attributes as our business ethos.

This change has seen us depart from a vivid green and grey to a colour palette of sage, beige and white, helping to convey the more empathetic qualities of our people. We moved to a more minimalistic design and typography, which ensures that our brand conveys its values and is aesthetically pleasing and compatible with more styles of properties.

We’re renovating too!
