Last Sunday, 1st March, one of our local Palmwoods agents, Leigh Martinuzzi, hosted a Clean Up Palmwoods event in conjunction with Clean Up Australia Day which is promoted to inspire and empower communities to clean up, fix up and conserve our environment.
Thanks to the support of many local businesses, the event was a huge success with over 100 locals participating!
A treasure hunt added to the excitement of the morning for the children with 20 small flags scattered throughout the clean-up areas, with local businesses donating prizes for the winners of the ‘Find The Flag’ hunt. A huge hit with the children all whilst cleaning up the local area – talk about a win/win.
A tremendous effort for all those that participated and volunteered – we can’t wait for the next Clean Up Palmwoods day!
