WHILE helping people on the Sunshine Coast find their dream home is an Amber Werchon Property goal it’s not the only thing AWP employees strive to achieve.
Barry Sheaffe is one such person with his sights set on helping his fellow man in any way he can and as a result will be participating in the 2014 Southern Cross poker run.
This is the fourth time Barry will ride in the annual event which raises funds for Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus.
More than 400 riders commit to the 3500km journey carrying all clothing, tents and bedding on their bikes from Noccundra Hotel to Boonah.
Barry will be setting off to Gatton on Friday August 29 before making the journey to the starting line at Noccundra Hotel.
Having recently upgraded his bike to a new Yamaha 1300cc Stryker, Barry is feeling confident.
You can follow the ride by visiting www.southerncrossassociation.org.au.
Auction fever to outbid the rain
This Saturday is set to be partly cloudy with a few showers but that isn’t stopping four beautiful and diverse homes going under the hammer.
From 9am 1 Arilla Street, Wurtulla will be going to public auction. Just a stones throw away from the Currimundi Reserve and Lake and within walking distance to the beach this property will be perfect for a first home buyer or investor.
From Wurtulla to Buderim 1 Rimu Court is the next to go under the hammer at 1pm. In an elevated position in a quiet cul-de-sac corner block this home is surrounded by beautiful vegetation and privacy.
Currimundi’s 5 Pennyroyal Circuit will go to auction at 4pm this Saturday. This house is the perfect entry level into Currimundi with an open and generous sized dining and two attractive bay windows.
Wrapping up a busy day of auctions we head down to Golden Beach where 32 Wavell Avenue is set to be snapped up at 5.30pm. This home is going under the hammer from the same seller as 1 Arilla Street so auction day is set to be a big one.
