Last Sunday the Sunshine Coast hosted the first Ironman 70.3 World Championship held in the southern hemisphere, and what a huge success! In excess of 3000 competitors from over 80 countries partook in the event with lots of cheering and support from the 25,000 strong crowd of spectators. It showcased our region to the world, and is estimated to have brought in $15 million to the local economy…great stuff!
There’s always so much happening on the Sunshine Coast – this Saturday the second annual Maroochy Music and Visual Arts Festival will be held in the heart of Maroochydore at the old Horton Park Golf Course. With a natural amphitheatre, a champagne and oyster garden, cash bar, live music, culinary delights and more…it is well worth checking out.
Of course our Agents won’t be attending, as they will be super busy conducting Open for Inspections across the breadth and depth of the Coast; so if you are in the market to buy, or even just considering buying, come along – click here to see times and locations.
