Supporting the community…near and far!

This week we are not going to talk about the property market in respect for the huge battles our brave fire fighters are undertaking in NSW to control devastating bushfires, the loss of property and all the treasured memories that accompany that loss is truly heartbreaking and our thoughts and prayers are with all affected. The Salvation Army is running a bushfires appeal, phone 1327 258 or visit the Salvos’ website http://salvos.org.au/; likewise you can donate to the Red Cross by phoning 1800 811 700 or visit the Red Cross website http://www.redcross.org.au/.

Closer to home, tomorrow is Walk for Daniel, an annual event whereby the Sunshine Coast community rallies together to support the Morcombe family by joining together to walk, wearing something red, from Suncoast Christian College at Woombye to Briggs Park Palmwoods. The walk commences at 6:30am and finishes at approximately 8:30am. It is 10 years this December since Daniel’s disappearance, show your support if you can by either participating in the walk…and you’ll still have be able to get to work on time, or by making a donation to the Daniel Morcombe foundation, or even just wearing something red on Friday. Until next week, stay safe and have a lovely weekend.
