- Colour
The colour palette is back. While neutral will also be a common base, bold bright colours are on the comeback this year. Especially in furniture we will see bold coloured lounges and statement piece furniture coming back into fashion. With pastilles as well as bold blues and burnt oranges on the rise.
- Curves
Towards the end of 2022 we saw modern curves however in 2023 it is curved furniture that is trending. Curved lounges, round dining tables, round side tables, moving away from the straight line furniture and bring back in the rounded and curve look. These statement pieces can be the highlight of a room and define the space.
- Outdoor Kitchens
Australian’s love to BBQ and be outdoors, In 2022 outdoor kitchens were one of the biggest design trend and this trend is predicted to continue through 2023. Having an outdoor kitchen gives you options when entertaining and creates a great outdoor space. Kitchen trends in 2023 include large sinks, earthy concrete tones and smooth lines.
