It’s been a very busy week and for those with school aged children – it was back to school this week and now the countdown until the next lot of holidays in September…time certainly flies by at supersonic speed. The Queensland Garden Expo was held over the weekend at the Nambour Showgrounds and that attracted massive crowds; celebrating its 30th year, it gets bigger and better each year. If you missed it this year, mark it in the calendar for next year.
There’s a really exciting vibe on the Sunshine Coast right now and it’s really wonderful to be part of the business community with so much happening in the area, from the Maroochy Principal Activity Centre, the new Horton Park Golf Course on track to open soon in Bli Bli, the revitalised Ocean Street dining precinct, works to improve and beautify Alex Parade, the continuing hospital works at Birtinya and so much more…investors are feeling confident and the busy market is reflecting this sense of optimism.

With four registered bidders and robust, competitive bidding, expertly handled by Auctioneer Justin Voss – sold to a Brisbane buyer for $710,000…it was great to hear that applause from the crowd too!
A large crowd also attended the auction at 106 Oceanic Drive, Warana – although there were some interested parties, they were unable to sign an unconditional contract, so negotiations continue post-auction. This is now listed at $829,000.
